The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Madagascar, Rasata Rafaravavitafika, has led a Malagasy delegation to Morocco since yesterday, in response to an invitation from her Moroccan counterpart, SEM Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs of African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad . At the end of their bilateral meeting, the head of Malagasy diplomacy and her Moroccan counterpart signed two bilateral cooperation agreements and a joint press release between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Madagascar. These include, in particular, a visa waiver agreement for holders of diplomatic and service passports of the two countries, and an agreement in the field of health. Indeed, relations between Madagascar and Morocco are fraternal and historical, dating back to the official establishment of diplomatic relations in August 1994. “ This official visit, which takes place from June 13 to 15, 2024, aims to strengthen the ties of friendship between the Moroccan and Malagasy people and also marks the celebration of the 30th anniversary of these diplomatic relations. », We can read in the press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
