He has been an oncology patient in the series for several years, which gave him the right to be ironic and aptly comment on doctors during visits. And it was in his room that the main character of the series, represented by Filip Březina, lay down on the next bed. Of course, he had that with Bartoška the most shared scenes.
Zero millimeters
“He’s a great actor and very well acted,” praised the native of Ostrava. Although the award-winning actor spent most of the filming in bed, he also had to play a few dramatic scenes. For example, a neurological collapse, as you saw yesterday. Like his young sidekick, he had to shave his hair down to 0mm and mask his head for two hours so that it was completely bare. “Usually Mr. Bartoška and I were sitting in the make-up shop at three in the morning,” laughed the young DAMU graduate.
A more relaxed pace
However, the filming regime was said to change significantly when the president of the Karlovy Vary festival was on set. “Suddenly, no one was in a hurry because Mr. Bartoška was there. It was tried out little by little and filmed without time pressure. There was time for everything, and there was also time for a cigarette.” portrayed Březin.
Naturally, the crew had to take into account the fact that the actor went through cancer himself. “The story The meaning of the tumor is about learning to live with the disease and learning to fight it, I’m sure a lot of people are interested in this topic,” commented on the eight-part series Bartoška, whose cancer recently returned. “Of course I’m very sorry, it shocked me, but it is what it is. You can’t do anything about it.” Filip commented on it in the show Face face, for whom cancer was just a role. “He’ll get over it,” he added firmly.
