Shell and BP Drop, Here Are the Latest Fuel Prices at Pertamina Gas Stations

JAKARTA – PT Pertamina (Persero) does not lower the price of fuel oil types ( BBM ) non-subsidized even though world oil prices tend to decline. This is different from private Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) which have lowered fuel prices.

“For non-subsidized fuels, we are currently still evaluating and monitoring the movement of world oil prices and the rupiah exchange rate,” explained Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Communication Manager Heppy Wulansari, quoted Tuesday (2/7/2024).

Pertamax price is still pegged at Rp12,950 per liter, Pertamax Green 95 at Rp13,900 per liter, Pertamax Turbo at Rp14,400 per liter, Dexlite at Rp14,550 per liter, and Pertamina Dex at Rp15,100 per liter. This price applies to the Java region and regions with a motor vehicle fuel tax (PBBKB) of 5%.

Meanwhile, the price of Pertalite and BioSolar fuels has not changed or remains the same. In detail, Pertalite remains at IDR 10,000 per liter and BioSolar at IDR 6,800 per liter.

The fuel price reduction occurred at Shell and BP. The fuel price reduction reached IDR 700 per liter. According to the official Shell website, the price of Shell Super fuel in Jakarta, Banten, and West Java starting July 1, 2024 is IDR 13,810, down from IDR 14,580 the previous month. The price reduction also occurred for Shell V-Power fuel to IDR 14,700, down from IDR 15,400 the previous month. Then the price of Shell V-Power Diesel became IDR 15,320, down from IDR 15,340 the previous month in Jakarta, Banten, West Java.

Meanwhile, the price of fuel at BP gas stations as of July 1, 2024 in Jabodetabek has also dropped significantly. The price of BP 92 as of July 1, 2024 is only IDR 13,450, down from the previous month of IDR 14,500 per liter. Furthermore, the price of BP Ultimate dropped to IDR 14,700 from the previous month of IDR 15,400. Then the price of BP Ultimate Diesel dropped slightly to IDR 15,320 from the previous month of IDR 15,340.
