Sheinbaum will analyze removing soldiers from productive state companies

Presidential candidate Claudia Sheinbaum presented her government program reiterating the proposal to create an intelligence agency for security and consolidate the projects bequeathed by President López Obrador.

Sheinbaum proposed strengthening the development bank and the Welfare Bank, in part because of the access that residents have.

The presidential candidate of the ruling party in Mexico said this Friday that she will analyze removing military personnel from the operation of some productive companies of the Mexican Government, such as the Mayan Train, the Mexicana de Aviación airline and some airports.

“For now, we have to keep it that way (under a military directive), evaluate how it is working and in any case change the situation,” he expressed at the 87th Banking Convention.which is held in the tourist resort of Acapulco.

Although the Constitution in Mexico limits the Armed Forces to participate in civil tasks, since 2018 President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has delegated various tasks, such as the construction and command of sectors such as air, rail and customs.
