The PRI member had remained outside the political, economic and social situations that have occurred in the national territory since his mandate ended, contrary to his counterparts, Felipe Calderón and Vicente Fox.
The last time the official X account of the former executive leader was active was on July 9, 2022, the day former President Luis Echeverría died, Peña Nieto expressed his condolences through this social network.
In 2012, Enrique Peña Nieto obtained 19,226,784 votes (38.21%), against 5,896,999 votes (31.59%) for Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
With 95% progress, the INE Preliminary Electoral Results Program registers 33,135,080 votes for Claudia Sheinbaum, this is 59.35% of the vote.
