Sheinbaum does not attend the presidential debate rehearsal

The presidential candidate of the “Let’s continue making history” coalition, Claudia Sheinbaum, did not appear at the rehearsal of the First Presidential Debatewhich took place this Saturday, April 6 at the national headquarters of the INE.

“The doctor is in rehearsal, in practice, in concentration, and she asked us to come to check light, sound and security, the truth is that everything is perfect for tomorrow, where we wait for the doctor to come very forcefully to win the debate, everything ready for tomorrow”, said Morena’s representative before the INE, Sergio Gutierrez Luna.

Although the institution scheduled its space at 4:00 p.m., Morena’s candidate decided not to runsince he secured the business link of his campaign team, Ana María Lomelí, “the schedule cut into the afternoon”so the doctor decided to practice her speech from her campaign home.

The preparation of Sheinbaum has been developed in the company of his campaign teamwho this Saturday afternoon went on their behalf to the INE to refine the final details of the debate and send information to the candidate regarding her accommodation, clocks, lights, among others.

“Right now we were doing shots, lighting issues, focus issues, the truth is that the doctor is a very methodical woman, very prepared, she is aware of every detail. In her personal training and in her discipline, she is not going to miss any topic and she is going to be giving a great demonstration of why she will be the President of Mexico, the best”said Gutiérrez Luna.

He also added that the representations of those who will be in the debate tomorrowThey expressed their point of view and everyone is satisfied with the results. He only indicated that they made some comments related to lighting issues: “The truth is that what was agreed has been done and everything is ready for tomorrow”he highlighted.

Finally, he said, the representative of Morena in the INE said that tomorrow both the candidates, as well as the citizens, what they want to see are the proposals, the contrast of ideas, they want to see the debate, “the behavior of each of the people who aspire to the Presidency of the Republic and that is what must prevail in this exercise tomorrow,” he pointed out.

The doctor will be accompanied this Sunday by 40 guests, among them the national leader of Morena, Mario Delgadoas well as his campaign team, the general secretary, Citlali Hernandez; representatives of the Legislative Branch, her family and people close to her.

Meanwhile, Paulina Silva, media liaison coordinator, will be with her on set during the two hours of debate.
