Sharing private photos after mother’s death

A year ago news broke that the daughter of the king of rock Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, had died. She lived to be 54 years old.

It was his mother, Priscilla Presley (78), who announced his death.

– She asked not to resuscitate her

– It is with a heavy heart that I have to share the terrible news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman she has ever known, Priscilla said in a statement.

Lisa Marie is survived by, among other things, her daughter Riley Keough (34). In a new post on Instagram, one year after her death, the 34-year-old honors her mother.

He does this by posting a private childhood photo of the two of them together. In the photo, mother and daughter are sitting in a booth at a restaurant: Keough smiles at the camera, while Lisa Marie looks down.

She added a heart emoji in the caption. After posting, several followers took to the comments section to pay tribute to the late artist.

“She was beautiful and will always be by your side,” writes one, while another adds:

“We love you Riley. We miss your mother so much,” wrote a third.

On Friday, Priscilla also took to social media to remember her late daughter.

“Today is a very solemn day. It’s been a year since your passing and not a day goes by that I don’t think about and miss you. Rest in peace, Lisa. You are now in the arms of your beloved father. This alone… gives me comfort,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
