Deadly early morning car crash in southern Spanish city – Two of the dead belonged to the gendarmerie
Driver fatigue is considered as the main scenario for the fatal accident at dawn on a highway near Seville, in the Spanish south. The information in the Spanish media states that the guide who was arrested was found negative for alcohol and drugs.
The tragic event occurred at about 4.30 in the morningwhen the truck he appeared to be unaware of the existence of a police roadblockin which other vehicles had also stopped, as a result of which he collided with them.
From strongest conflict that followed at least six people were killed, including two members of the Guardia Civil (a counterpart of the gendarmerie). Yet three people are hospitalized with serious injuries.
