Senior changes at Sanofi

Sanofi has announced senior level changes to be responsible for activities in the Eurasia Region, the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Levant Region.

According to the statement made by the company, high-level changes were announced at Sanofi to be responsible for activities in the Eurasia Region, which includes Turkey and Russia, as well as the Commonwealth of Independent States, which includes Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and the Levant Region, which includes Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria and Palestine.

Within the scope of the relevant changes, Orhan Eren was appointed as Eurasia Region Finance Director & Pharmaceutical Finance Business Partner. After graduating from Istanbul Bilgi University Business Informatics department, Orhan Eren started his career in the banking sector in 2010.

Eren joined Sanofi in 2015. After completing his MBA at Istanbul Bilgi University and his MA in Economics and Finance at Boğaziçi University, he received his PhD in Financial Economics from Istanbul Commerce University. Last serving as Finance Director for Turkey, Iran and the Levant at Sanofi, Eren will serve as Finance Director and Pharmaceutical Finance Business Partner for the Eurasia Region in his new role.

Possessing a wide range of competencies including corporate finance, treasury, financial analysis, competitive analysis, investor relations, financial risk management and strategic planning, Eren has also been leading the in-house cultural transformation processes at Sanofi since 2023.

Dr. Nurdan Bulur became the Eurasia Region Pharmaceutical Medical Director & Country Medical Leader

Dr. Nurdan Bulur has been appointed as Sanofi Eurasia Region Pharmaceutical Medical Director and Country Medical Leader. Graduating from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2005, Dr. Nurdan Bulur later received her doctorate in diabetes and metabolism at Universite Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Belgium. Bulur has assumed various responsibilities at Sanofi Turkey since 2010, covering different treatment areas in the medical field, and has a wealth of experience in the healthcare sector.

Bulur, who worked as Country Medical Leader for Sanofi South Africa prior to his role as Medical Director for Specialty Therapies Turkey, Iran and the Levant, will take on the role of medical leader for the Eurasia Region, which includes Turkey, Russia and Jordan.

Dr. Özde Tırna has been appointed as the Medical Director of Vaccines for Sanofi Eurasia Region

Dr. Özde Tırna became the Medical Director of Vaccines for Sanofi Eurasia Region.

Tırna, who graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2004, has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and vaccine industry. Tırna, who led the vaccine team in Turkey, Iran and the Levant region at Sanofi, has also expanded his area of ​​responsibility and was appointed as the Medical Director of Vaccines for Sanofi Eurasia Region.

Tırna, who joined Sanofi as Medical Director in 2010, will now lead the medical activities of the Vaccine Unit across a wide geography.
