The fight against the proliferation of drugs in the fokontany continues for the police. On Wednesday around 10:30 a.m., gendarmes from the Vohitsarahasina outpost raided the home of a person suspected of being a cannabis seller. Living in Tsaratanana, in the fokontany of Tsarazaza, rural commune of Nosibetrimoloarano, district of Andramasina, the individual was surprised at his home with around twenty kilos of cannabis, stored in a basket and packages ready for sale. Gendarmerie investigators were able to make this seizure thanks to the arrest of a man a week before, on December 5. The preliminary investigation carried out with this suspect made it possible to gather valuable information on cannabis trafficking in the locality. One thing led to another, the police ended up locating the drug seller and were able to carry out this search at his home. After the raid, the criminal was arrested and taken into custody at the Vohitsarahasina outpost. The search to trace the origin of the drugs and the suppliers of this dealer continues.
