Secretary of State for Culture highlights pro-activity of the private sector

The Secretary of State for Culture, Aguinaldo Cristóvão,
declared, in an interview with Notícias de Angola, that the private sector has played a very important role within the framework of its social responsibility.

At a time when the country is going through difficult times, the private sector, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, has done everything possible to maintain cultural activities. According to the Secretary, the private sector has been one of the great levers of Angolan culture.

“The involvement of the private sector, some associations and cultural agents, has strengthened culture, so that it is visible to everyone. The private sector has supported many initiatives coming from the public sector, and has been one of the great levers of our culture”.

Aguinaldo Cristóvão, highlighted that there has been a growth in the number of cultural events, which bring knowledge to citizens, stimulating the development of the sector and maintaining updates on activities and citizens’ interest in our culture.
