Secretary of Government of Cesar will remain under medical observation

The Secretary of Government of Cesar, Eduardo Emilio Esquivel López, will remain confined at the Cesar Cardiovascular Institute, based in Valledupar, to continue under medical observation, after a catheterization was performed this Monday.

Esquivel López’s official medical report warns of an acute coronary syndrome; he still has significant lesions in the marginal cardiac arteries, which warrant a second time with another catheterization on Wednesday, which will conclude the medical process.

The head of the Government portfolio remains lucid and in good spirits, with divine protection, surrounded by health experts, love from his family and support from his colleagues in the government cabinet that makes him better.

It should be noted that the official suffered the heart attack on Sunday night, when he was at his home with his family. He was immediately transferred to the Cesar Clinic, where the first studies were performed and then he was referred.
