Some individuals are willing to “walk over corpses” and will stop at nothing. Like, for example, the couple who blackmailed the family of the legendary racer Michael Schumacher (55), who has been unable to live a full life for more than ten years due to a serious skiing accident. Now disturbing details have surfaced about the reprehensible pair. What exactly did they have planned?
They tried to ensure that the money, which would most likely have been intended for the expensive treatment of Michael Schumacher, ended up in their bank accounts. Thanks to the timely intervention of the police, their repulsive plan did not work. We are talking about a couple who blackmailed members of the family of a famous rider. But instead of millions, they now face a scramble in the courts. What exactly were they up to?
According to the British newspaper The Sun, the pair of unnamed perpetrators, who also consist of a father (53) and a son (30), approached employees of Schumacher’s close wife Corinna. More precisely, they should have claimed to them that they had a file with secret information about the seven-time F1 champion. According to police officers from the German city of Wuppertal, the extortionists said that Schumacher’s family would certainly not want the information to become public due to its sensitive content.
To keep the information private, the pair requested that Corinna et al. she sent millions. Otherwise, they threatened to publish messages about Michael on the dark web, which users can access only with special software or configuration. The prosecutor’s office said the suspects were even supposed to send some of the files to the family as proof they were serious.
In the end, however, the police managed to track down the calculated father and son with the help of technical measures, as reported by the Focus agency. More precisely, they caught the pair in the parking lot in front of the supermarket. Both men were quickly apprehended. In addition, it was revealed that both are already on probation for a previous crime. They are currently in custody awaiting arraignment.
The family of the famous racer Michael Schumacher had to deal with a real inconvenience.
