Scandalous incident just days before the Olympics! Tourist woman gang-raped in kebab shop, country on alert

The alleged gang rape that took place in Paris, France, days before the Olympic opening ceremony has raised concerns among the international community.

A 25-year-old Australian tourist reported that she was attacked by five men, believed to be of African descent, at around 05:00 on Saturday morning in a kebab shop near the world-famous Moulin Rouge cabaret. The shocked woman was taken to Bichat Hospital after the incident. It was reported that the victim’s dress was inside out and she was carrying her underwear, and her mobile phone was stolen.

HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF TOURISTS CAME TO THE CITY FOR THE OLYMPICS

Paris police are working to prevent panic among the hundreds of thousands of tourists who have flocked to the city for the Olympics. Security camera footage related to the incident is being meticulously examined and intensive work is underway to identify the suspects as quickly as possible.

A GIANT SECURITY FORCE WAS ESTABLISHED

This tragic incident occurred despite the extensive security operation launched by Paris ahead of the Olympics. French authorities have created a massive security force of approximately 45,000 police officers and 18,000 soldiers from 43 countries. In addition, high-tech vehicles such as Rafale fighter jets, AWACS surveillance aircraft, Reaper drones and sniper-equipped helicopters have been incorporated into the security system.

Armed patrols have been seen on the streets of Paris, while metal barriers have been set up along the Seine River. QR code scanning has been introduced to certain parts of the city, and vehicles have been banned entirely in some areas. These security measures, known as the “steel belt,” will continue throughout the Olympics.

TOURISTS’ CONCERNS INCREASED

The incident has raised concerns about the security of the upcoming Olympic Games, with French authorities stressing that all necessary precautions are being taken and that the safety of visitors will be at the highest level. In the framework of international cooperation, 1,700 officers from the British police and specially trained dogs will also be on duty in Paris.
