The Executive Branch appointed the Superintendent of the SBS for the period corresponding to its constitutional term

Today, Thursday, July 18, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers appointed Sergio Espinosa Chiroque as the new superintendent of the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS). Espinosa enters through the economist Maria del Socorro Heysen.

This change was approved following the recent intervention of the Sullana Box and its absorption of assets and liabilities by the Piura Municipal Fundan event that caused a stir because it affected many citizens with savings and loans in the entity. This event occurred last Thursday, July 11.
