Santos and Guerreras define preseason

Santos Laguna and the Guerreras defined the start dates of their respective preseasons, for the Apertura 2024, after the failures they had in the Clausura, by not reaching the league.

As for the men’s team led by Nacho Ambriz, they will report to Territorio Santos Modelo (TSM) next Wednesday, May 15, to begin a total of 8 weeks of preparation, prior to the start of the MX League.

During the first three days, they will carry out the corresponding physical and medical tests in the areas of Applied Sports Sciences, including the Physiology Laboratory (SANTOS LAB) and the Neurosciences Area, where they will perform anthropometric, tensiomography, functional and kinesics, VALD and decision and ophthalmology.

Later, on Sunday, May 19, the albiverde team will travel to Allende, Nuevo León, where they will hold a concentration of almost two weeks, to focus on the physical, technical and tactical aspects.

The concentration at the foot of the Sierra Madre Oriental will conclude on Saturday June 1st. Several preparation matches are planned throughout these weeks of preparation, where the rivals will be announced shortly.

WARRIORS

Regarding the Guerreras, who on the final date of the last Clausura 2024, won their third game in a year and avoided finishing last in the standings, they also announced their plan during the summer, with the intention of vindicating themselves and looking for a ticket to the party great of the Apertura.

And in terms of planning preseason activities, with strategist Karla Maya in charge, Santos Laguna Femenil will include a job at the TSM, as well as a trip to Mazatlán, Sinaloa.

The albiverde team will report next Wednesday, May 29, for everything corresponding to the medical and physical tests. It will be about two weeks of work in the Comarca Lagunera.
