San Giovanni Rotondo, a morning of information for the study and treatment of epilepsy

SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO (FOGGIA) – The important national meeting was born, as part of the “International Epilepsy Day”, with the aim of raising awareness among the population about this neurological pathology with a strong social impact which, even today, weighs on the stigma and exclusion and around which great prejudice and ignorance remains.

To do so, illustrious specialists and experts in the field of Neurology, including Dr. Giuseppe D’ORSI medical director UOC Neurology “Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza”, Dr. Massimo CARELLA Deputy Scientific Director “Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza”, Dr. M. Teresa DI CLAUDIO Neurophysiopathology Technician UOC Neurology “Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza”, Dr. Filomena CICCONE Psychologist at “Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza”, Dr. Michele GERMANO NPI “Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza” and Dr. Maria Rachele BIANCHI Medical Director UOC Neurology “Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza”.

In the lineup, in addition to the ritual greetings from the mayor of San Giovanni Rotondo, prof. Michele CRISETTI, also the interventions of the president of “Gli Amici di San Pio” Dr. Serafino Graziano LEUZZI, by Dr. Michele GIULIANI administrative director of “Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza” and in videoconference of the FISH national president Dr. Vincenzo FALABELLA.
