Expressive cases for Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra based on the artistic contributions of Ricardo Cavolo, Steven Wilson and Yeye Weller
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced the launch of a line of accessories for the Galaxy S24 series created in collaboration with three European artists. The three artists who collaborated are Ricardo Cavolo (Spain), Steven Wilson (UK) and Yeye Weller (Germany). Each of them is known for their culturally inspired works, and the accessories they have created offer you a unique opportunity to celebrate European art in your daily life.
The range of accessories for the Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra models includes three types of cases, and the Galaxy Z Flip5 will also receive three new Flipsuit cards designed by the three artists. Since these accessories are equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, when connected they automatically display animations on the screen. Customers who purchase one of the accessories will also receive a special gift of a matching Galaxy Watch6 face, which can be downloaded for free via a guide included in the case. The collection will be available exclusively for purchase starting January 17 on Samsung.com, starting in 16 countries and expanding to more than 20 markets by January 26.[1]. Countries included include Korea, the United States, China, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Australia, and Brazil.
“We are pleased to work with leading European artists to offer accessories that will allow consumers to better express their unique voices,” said Evelyn Kim, Executive Vice President of Global Brand Center at Samsung Electronics. “This collaboration is an expansion of the already rich and differentiated offering of accessories available on Samsung.com.”
Cases with evocative designs by European artists
Ricardo Cavolo resides in Barcelona (Spain) and is inspired by folk art, medieval aesthetics and tribal forms. His work weaves these narratives together, infusing his art with layers that create a mythical narrative. His iconic work “Flaming Heart” is the basis for accessories that use the powerful image of a burning heart against a sky blue background with white stars.
The second artist to collaborate is London-based illustrator Steven Wilson, known for his passion for screen printing and color layering. His critically acclaimed work, represented by a bulldog, is the protagonist of this collaboration, in which he uses bold colors and pronounced lines.
Finally, Yeye Weller, from Münster, Germany, is an internationally renowned artist who infuses her work with vibrant color and detail to create charming and lovable characters. His main artwork, “Spread Love”, inspired the design of his cases for the Galaxy S24 model, the Flipsuit card and the Galaxy Watch6 watch face.
Building on Samsung’s previous collaboration with contemporary artists, this new line of accessories will allow users to leverage Samsung’s cutting-edge technology while expressing their sense of style with distinctive art.
