The jury of the Arab Theater Festival, now in its fourteenth session, was made up of Arab theater artists from different countries, chaired by the great Syrian artist Ayman Zidane, and composed of: the Palestinian playwright (Hossam Abu Aisha), the academic Egyptian playwright (Dr. Sameh Mahran), playwright, Libyan (Ali Al-Falah) and Lebanese academic playwright (Dr. Hisham Zein Al-Din).

(19) performances will participate in the festival in the next session, as follows: the performances of the first song, the song competing for the prize of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi and 13 performances qualified for this song, which are “ Ecstasia”, from Morocco, for the Land of Chaouen Foundation for Cultures, written and directed by Yassin Ahjam, “The Executioner”, from the Emirates, for the Khor Fakkan Arts Theatre, written by Ahmed Al Majid, directed by Elham Muhammad, Beit Abu Abdullah, from Iraq, for the National Acting Troupe, written and directed by Anas Abdel Samad, and among the shows there is also “Teknaza, the Story of Tuda.”, from Morocco, by the Fawanes Theater Group, written by Tariq Al -Rabh, Ismail Al-Orabi and Amine Nassour, directed by Amine Nassour, “Revolution”, from Algeria, by the Regional Theater of Sidi Bel Abbes, on the surrounded body of Kateb Yacine, prepared by Hisham Bousahla and Youssef Mila, directed by Abdelkader Jerio, and presented “I Dreamed About You Yesterday,” from Tunisia, by the Tunisian National Theatre, written by Lubna Malika, directed by Lubna Malika and Ibrahim Jumaa, and a screening of “Happy Life,” from Iraq, by Iraqi Artists Syndicate – General Center, written by Ali Abdul Nabi al-Zaidi, directed by Kazem Nassar, and a play “ Zaghanbot, from the Emirates, by Sharjah National Theatre, written by Ismail Abdullah, directed by Muhammad Al-Amiri.
Among other shows, there are: “Sidrat Al-Sheikh,” from Oman, by the Salalah National Theater Arts Troupe, based on the novel The White Sheikh by Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, adapted and directed by Imad Mohsen Al -Shanfari, “Safsaf”, from Iraq, by the National Acting Troupe in collaboration with Dunya Atelier. For film and theater productions, written and directed by Ali Abdel Nabi Al-Zaidi, and the screening of “Silence”, from Kuwait, by Sulaiman Al-Bassam Theatre, written and directed by Sulaiman Al-Bassam, and the screening of “Tomorrow and There”, from Tunisia, the Tunisian National Theatre, written by Nouman Hamda and Maryam Al-Sufi, directed by Noaman Hamda Presentation “Frimology”, from Jordan, written and directed by Dr. Governor Massoud.
As regards the performances of the second and third pieces, which are 7 performances, they were the following: Antigone, from Jordan, by the Travelers Theatre, on Antigone by Jean Anoui, prepared and directed by Hakim Harb, Hymn of Waiting, from Iraq , the National Acting Troupe, on “Waiting for Vladimir” by Mathal Ghazi, directed by Ali Habib and Ars Kalam, from Morocco, by the Al-Shamat Theater – Menouni Cultural Center, text by Muhammad Barada (words deleted from the words), directed by Bousselham Al-Daif.
The madness of the doves, from Iraq, the French Cultural Center and the Department of Cinema and Theatre, by Awatif Naeem on a misunderstanding by Albert Camus, directed by Dr. Awatif Naeem, and the Gaza Metro show, in the third piece, a show conducted from Palestine, from the Freedom Theater – Jenin Camp, based on a text by Khawla Ibrahim, prepared by Muhammad Abu Sal, directed by the French Hervé Loychemole.
These important performances are characterized by asking burning questions in the spaces of freedom, justice and human rights, championing life and goodness, bringing innovative and high-level artistic visions, addressing universal and Arab issues that shake the world, raising questions about our social structures and present contemporary visions to reproduce our popular arts and cultures, although just looking at the titles of these plays will make us discover this and more. In the 14th session, the world will witness the awareness of Arab playwrights and their commitment with the historical journey of their nation, their homelands and humanity, and will see Arab playwrights present their aesthetic, intellectual and philosophical visions. The Arab Theater has left the trailer and is helping to direct the locomotive.
