Salvatore Mancuso denounces irregularities in his imprisonment

The former paramilitary claims to have asked Inpec on multiple occasions to clarify this situation with the relevant authorities for more than 130 days, without obtaining a satisfactory response. In addition, Mancuso alleges that at least 11 of his rights have been violated, including the right to freedom, equality, defense and due process, among others. For this reason, he demands that the officials of Inpec and La Picota who may be responsible in this case be investigated, and requests that the release warrants issued in his favor by the judicial authorities be enforced.

Mancuso’s complaint has raised serious criticism against the Inpec, questioning its ability to administer penitentiary justice in a fair manner and in accordance with the law.
