Reuters, referring to informed sources, writes that at the beginning of March, Iran warned Russia about “probable tension” through appropriate channels. Earlier, Washington revealed the reality of informing Russia about the high probability of terrorist attacks. Moreover, the State Department also confirmed this information, referring to two statements of the US Embassy in Moscow, by which the citizens of the United States were urged to refrain from participating in mass events as much as possible.
Moscow considers that by pointing arrows at the Islamic State for organizing the terrorist attack in “Crocus City Hall”, Washington is trying to insure Ukraine. The “hypothesis of the Ukrainian trajectory” of terrorism has already been almost officially “confirmed”. Moscow even demanded that the Ukrainian authorities arrest those suspected of organizing terrorism and compensate the victims and their families.
Against this background, the “New York Times” made a remarkable publication, according to which recently “unidentified persons” in Spain brutally killed Maxim Kuzminov, who crossed over to the Ukrainian side last summer with an MI-8 combat helicopter. He moved from Ukraine to Spain and lived alone. Kuzminov was killed by six shots fired from a “Makarov” type pistol, after which his body was run over. The Spanish police consider that “what happened is revenge”.
As a justification for this version, the Spaniards refer to a program broadcast on Russian state television after Kuzminov’s escape, in which former special forces participants assured that “even if he is underground, they will find him and punish him as a traitor to the motherland.” The two people who killed Kuzminov have not been found yet. According to the information of “New York Times”, although the cameras recorded the actions of killing and running over the corpse, “the perpetrators were wearing hooded raincoats and masks”.
The publication of the authoritative American media is apparently a simple hint that, if desired, the special services of Russia are able not only to receive intelligence information, but also to “organize acts of revenge”. The meaning, probably, is that the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the Main Intelligence Department of the General Intelligence Service and other power structures must have had information about the terrorist attack being prepared in Moscow.
