Russian Iskander Missile Attack Destroys US HIMARS in Ukraine, Here’s the Video

MOSCOW – Attack Russia on Thursday destroyed one of the launchers High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) supply United States of America (US) for Ukraine.

The advanced American rocket system was destroyed by an Iskander ballistic missile while hiding in a forest area in Ukraine’s Sumy region, after firing several shots.

The Russian Defense Ministry released high-resolution video showing the attack.

In a move described by Moscow as an act of terrorism, several thousand Ukrainian troops crossed from Sumy into Russia’s Kursk region last week, seeking to ease pressure on the Donbas front and seize Russian territory as a bargaining chip.

Moscow has responded with intense air and artillery strikes on Kyiv forces.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Thursday’s strike destroyed one HIMARS launcher, a six-rocket reloading pod and two service vehicles of a Ukrainian artillery unit.

Just to let you know, the M142 HIMARS is mounted on a wheeled truck chassis and can fire GPS-guided rockets, modified aircraft bombs, or ATACMS long-range ballistic missiles.

The US has provided Ukraine with at least 40 HIMARS launchers, according to information released by the Pentagon.
