Russia shows off captured Western military equipment on Red Square: “Our victory is inevitable”

Russian authorities will organize an exhibition of captured Western military equipment on Red Square in Moscow from Wednesday.

A parade traditionally takes place every year at the beginning of May on Red Square, in the heart of the Russian capital, in honor of the victory over Nazi Germany in the Second World War. This year it will be accompanied by an exhibition on what Russia describes as another “fascist regime”.

This year, American, British and other Western military equipment is also part of the exhibition. These are tanks and other military vehicles that were supplied to Ukraine by the West and that were captured by the Russians on the battlefield. “Our victory is inevitable,” reads red banners above the vehicles. “This proves Russia’s success against Ukrainian militants and their Western allies,” it said.
