Rumors about the presidency anger Wydad

The management of the Wydad Sports Team refuted what was recently reported about the conditions for running for the presidency of the club.

The “Red” team explained, in a statement published on its official pages on social networking sites, that the only means of communication that would publish everything that is approved and official is the official page of Wydad.

The communication stated: “The directorate’s office, as well as the committee studying candidacy files, clarifies that the only means of communication that can publish everything that is approved and official is the official page of Wydad, but anything other than that is a kind of fantasy, and only those who promoted it matter.”

It is worth noting that Wydad supporters discussed what was popular regarding the conditions for running for team presidency, some of which were considered difficult to achieve.

Hicham Ait Menna, the former president of Chabab Mohammedia who is currently involved in Wydad Athletic Club, had announced his candidacy for the presidency of the “Red Club” to succeed Abdelmadjid El-Bernaki, who is heading the administrative office after the arrest of Saeed Naciri.
