Rows of European Countries Supporting Palestine, Who’s Next?

MADRID – The list of European countries that support Palestine is interesting to know. Most recently, there were three names that recognized their independence, namely Spain, Norway and Ireland.

European Countries That Support Palestine

1. Ireland

Ireland only recently recognized the state of Palestine some time ago. Nevertheless, this country has long been known as a supporter of Palestine in Europe.

Quoting Al Jazeera, Ireland became the first European Union member to call for the creation of a Palestinian state in 1980. They even refused to open an embassy in Israel.

The reason for Ireland’s support for Palestine is based on the country’s history of struggle in the past. For your information, Ireland also experienced colonialism in the past, which made many of its citizens empathize with the Palestinian struggle.
