Now in the role of sports director, Tomáš Rosický (43) has led the Letenská Manchaft back among the European elite. So he went to the draw of the Champions League. And it must be said, in style!
With a 2-0 home win in the 4th preliminary round of the Champions League over Malmö, Sparta’s footballers ended their 19-year wait to participate in the most prestigious European competition. The lion’s share of this goes to the sports director Tomáš Rosický, who has done a huge amount of work in his role.
Just »Rosa« published a photo on Instagram that shows that together with other people from the management of Sparta, he went to Monaco in style by private jet. “After nineteen long years, Sparta is back in the Champions League,” added Rosický to the picture, which, in addition to him, includes CEO Tomáš Křivda, vice-chairman of the board of directors František Čupr and member of the board of directors Petr Hrdlička.
Enthusiastic supporters started writing congratulations under the post after it was published. “And now to Arsenal and Dortmund,” one of them referred to Rosický’s former workplace. “I wish you the best, Tom. Hard work and faith in the set path bore fruit. But as you said yourself, this is not the end. We still have somewhere to move,” another joined.
