Ronaldo Cries After Failed Penalty Kick, Immediately Apologizes to Supporters

There was an interesting moment when Portugal clashed with Slovenia in the last 16 Euro 2024 . Cristiano Ronaldo was seen crying and apologizing to the fans in the stands.

The Portugal vs Slovenia match was held at the Waldstadion, Frankfurt, in the last 16 of Euro 2024, Tuesday (2/7/2024) early morning WIB. The match ended goalless during normal time and continued into an extra round of 2×15 minutes.

Portugal had a golden opportunity through a penalty at the end of the first half of extra time. Ronaldo, who was the executor, failed to capitalize on the opportunity after the ball was parried by Jan Oblak.

During extra time, Ronaldo appeared to be crying and had to be calmed down by his teammates.
