München (ots/PRNewswire) – Rolls-Royce Power Systems (RRPS) and CATL are pleased to announce a strategic collaboration that will launch the TENER product line in the EU and UK. The groundbreaking product has been designed with safety in mind and to improve lifetime, efficiency and availability. The new TENER product can be used for up to 5 years without degradation, depending on the product line and application. RRPS has started to offer TENER products as part of its a person EnergyPack QG solution. The two companies have established a close cooperation in integrating TENER products into turnkey EPC projects with comprehensive maintenance services.
Grid-scale energy storage systems enable the integration of variable renewable energy sources into the grid while improving grid stability and reliability. The fully integrated solution will enable the customer to take advantage of the latest available grid and trading services across the rapidly modernising UK and EU grids. The solution will help accelerate the energy transition and create a more sustainable energy infrastructure.
At the end of last year, RRPS and CATL signed a long-term supply agreement that will see a collaboration of more than 10 GWh. The agreement strengthens the business relationship between both companies and helps to promote growth in the EU and UK markets. The commitment of both companies to technology, quality, safety and on-time delivery results in greater investment security for the customer. The partnership also extends to the innovation of smart products such as the smart a person RRPS’ EnergetIQ automation solution and digital platform a person Go! with CATL’s intelligent diagnostic platform and BMS. The partnerships strengthen the ability of both companies to execute large and complex projects. Both companies have successfully executed various projects in the EU with the EnerOne product line and have several projects under contract in the EU for the EnerC+ product line.
