Rohmi-Firin’s Electability Soars in NTB, Party Support Continues to Increase

JAKARTA – The electability of the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor of NTB, Sitti Rohmi Djalilah and the Travelers continues to experience significant increases in various regions in NTB. This pair is also known as Rohmi-Firin .

Based on a leaked survey from a credible institution, the pair recorded a single-digit increase in electability in West Lombok (Lobar), Mataram, and North Lombok (KLU), and reached more than 60 percent in East Lombok. On Sumbawa Island, a positive trend is also seen.

Spokesperson for the Rohmi-Firin pair, Samsul Qomar, expressed his gratitude and optimism regarding this development.

“Alhamdulillah, based on the survey, Rohmi-Firin are increasingly soaring in various regions, especially in East Lombok which has reached more than 60 percent. Details of the survey results will be officially released later,” said Qomar, Sunday (21/7/2024).

Responding to the issue that Rohmi-Firin were having difficulty getting a supporting party, Qomar answered with full confidence.

“The issue only shows the panic of other parties over the significant progress of our pair. Our team understands the dynamics of politics and party support very well, and currently we have almost 30 percent of the threshold of the supporting parties,” he stressed.

Qomar also emphasized that everything could change until the registration day on August 27.

“If someone says that PPP supports another candidate, that’s fine. If someone claims that Gerindra and Golkar have been locked by another pair, that’s fine. Our pair have often participated in regional elections, have experience, so they are used to issues like that,” he added.

In addition, Qomar said, their team also continues to communicate with Gerindra and Demokrat. “We believe that the parties will nominate candidates based on their survey data, database, mass base, and logistics base, not based on claims,” ​​he said.
