Rock for People is expecting its strongest year next year. Muse and Slipknot are coming

Fans can look forward to a monstrous stage show by British giants MUSE as part of the tour for their ninth studio album, Will of the People.

The American Slipknot, who proved with this year’s show at the O2 arena that they rightfully rank among the greatest metal legends in music history, will once again delight lovers of harder genres in June at Park 360 in Hradec Králové.

“We managed to cross our own boundaries again. When Green Day’s agent happily thanked us, I knew that this year’s 26th year had moved us a huge step forward in many ways,” says festival director Michal Thomes with a smile, adding: “our hard work paid off, because this same agent now after months of negotiations, she confirmed the participation of the band, not only in terms of production, but of much larger dimensions – MUSE.”

Rock for People celebrated success on all fronts this year, and the 27th edition of the festival will not only build on this success, but literally surpass it with the upcoming lineup. The organizers are not taking their foot off the gas, and in addition to the two headliners, they have announced a package of 15 other bands.

This is a dramaturgical taste of the direction the next year’s lineup will take. Also performing at Rock for People will be Architects, Billy Talent, Hollywood Undead, I Prevail, Lorna Shore, Nothing But Thieves, Paledusk, Set It Off, Sleep Token, The Amazons and While She Sleeps. The Czechoslovak scene is represented by From Our Hands, Hentai Corporation, I Love You Honey Bunny, Several and Shogun Tokugawa.
