Hongkong (ots/PRNewswire) – Recently, RoboSense announced its business performance for the first half of 2024, showing strong growth and maintaining its leadership position in the global market. In the six months ended June 30, 2024, RoboSense’s sales volume of LiDAR products and LiDAR products for ADAS applications was approximately 243.400 and 234.500 units, which represents an increase of 415,7 % and 487,7 % compared to the previous year.
As OEMs make rapid progress in intelligent technologies, RoboSense nearly reached its 2023 annual sales volume in the first half of 2024. The development of RoboSense and the introduction of intelligent solutions in the global automotive industry are progressing and succeeding together. This exponential growth highlights RoboSense’s exceptional capabilities in technological innovation and market expansion, and consolidates our path to outstanding growth as an industry leader.
By June 30, 2024, RoboSense’s cumulative sales volume for LiDAR reached approximately 583,500 unitsof which about 518,300 units LiDAR for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Since pioneering the mass production of LiDAR for ADAS in 2021, RoboSense has shown significant growth with steadily increasing revenues that continue to lead the industry.
By leveraging its powerful LiDAR hardware and perception software technology, as well as leading product performance, RoboSense has made remarkable progress in the development of vehicle models and mass production of various vehicle models. As of May 17, 2024, we have received orders from 22 global OEMs and Tier-1 customers for mass production of 71 vehicle models By the end of the first quarter of 2024, we have started production at 25 vehicle models of 12 of these customers.
At the 2024 Auto Beijing Show, RoboSense ranked first by equipping 37 models, and the utilization rate exceeded 50%. As more and more collaborative vehicle models enter the market and reach mass production, RoboSense continues to break records.
In the areas of technological innovation and product development, RoboSense continues to launch powerful and technologically pioneering products that drive progress in the industry. In Q2 and Q3 2024, RoboSense launched the M3, a long-range LiDAR deviceand the MX, a medium-range LiDAR deviceto the market. MX has already secured three new projects for mass production shortly after its launch, and mass production is expected to begin in 2025.
