The head of the North American Unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), Roberto Velasco Alvarezreported that it is participating in the Review of Midterm of the High Level Economic Dialogue (DEAN).
On social networks, the official announced that Mexico leads the largest commercial relationship that has existed between two countries in the history of the world, “which motivates us to continue with this mechanism that is so valuable for millions of people,” he stressed.
He explained that the essential points are to rebuild together, promote economic and social development sustainable in southern Mexico and Central America, in addition to ensuring the tools for future prosperity and investing in people.

Mexico was the United States’ top trading partner in 2023, with total two-way goods trade of $799 billion.
They have mentioned that both countries depend on closely integrated supply chains to boost economies and strengthen global competitiveness.
The idea is to leverage strong economic integration to foster regional prosperity, expand job creation, promote investment in our people and reduce inequality and poverty.
