Robert De Niro revealed his worst filming experience

Although De Niro played in Scorsese’s The King of Comedy, he only started taking on comedy roles when he was older, so Tarantino was surprised by his good sense of humor during the filming of Jackie Brown.

De Niro now says of his firing that he didn’t have enough experience at the time and that it was a form of comedy that didn’t suit him.

“I blame myself. I didn’t know certain things. It was a Neil Simon type of humor that requires a certain type of timing… It just didn’t work. I shot it for about two weeks. It was the worst…”
