Ride your bike to work and win great prizes – 2024-04-27 04:28:42

The “Lower Austria cycles to work” campaign is once again focusing on the commute

St. Pölten (OTS) Anyone who likes to pedal and would like to collect cycling kilometers on the way to work can now be doubly happy: the kilometer collecting competition “NÖ radelt” is not only about promoting health and the immune system, but also about having fun with colleagues and colleagues and collect kilometers and cycling days together for the company. LH deputy Udo Landbauer is convinced: “Cycling increases performance, ensures joy in life and offers a good balance to stressful everyday life. I wish all participants a lot of fun, success and constant endurance in the kilometer collecting competition.” And the best thing about it: great prizes await the lucky winners.

“Niederösterreich radelt” is a kilometer collecting competition for everyone who uses a bicycle in everyday life, and every kilometer recorded counts. Simply register via the website noe.radelt.at or via the new free app “Österreich radelt” and win great prizes. Anyone who cycles to work for at least 10 days from May 1st to June 30th and enters these trips in their profile will take part in the raffle. For maximum driving motivation, the main prize is a Vello SUB e-transport bike and other practical folding bikes from Vello. In addition, fast e-bikes from Geero and Husqvarna e-bicycles provide additional motivation on the way to work.

“Participation in ‘NÖ radelt’ not only motivates you to cycle, but also contributes significantly to personal health and fitness,” says Susanna Hauptmann, managing director of Radland Niederösterreich, the agency for active mobility.

Teamwork in companies is also rewarded. Companies in which more than five percent of employees have completed the ten days have the chance to take part in a raffle for a joint company breakfast. In addition, the most active companies and new entrants can look forward to a special bike service day at the end of September. All companies in Lower Austria are warmly invited to take part.
