Ricky Martin is reported for domestic violence, but his agent says “it’s false”

Although they do not reveal the name of the petitioning party, it was known that the order was issued in Puerto Rico.
The Puerto Rico Police confirmed that they are in the process of filing a protection order issued against the artist Ricky Martin for a complaint under Law 54, which protects victims of domestic violence.

The order was issued by Judge Raiza Cajigas Campbell, of the Court of First Instance of San Juan, after an ex parte request, according to the Police statement.

The details of the complaint or information about the alleged case of domestic violence have not been released.

As this is a case under the Domestic Violence Prevention and Intervention Act, the Puerto Rico Police do not reveal the name of the petitioning party.

The Police received a copy of the Protection Order, through the new Protection Order Operations and Processing Center (COPOP), and coordinated its processing by the agents assigned to the Dorado barracks.

Enrique Martín Morales, better known as Ricky Martin, has been married since 2017 to the artist of Syrian origin Jwan Yosef and has four children.

The 50-year-old singer is the author of great musical hits such as “La copa de la vida”, “La mordidita”, “Livin’ la Vida Loca” and “María”.

The Puerto Rican performer’s representatives told People that “The accusations against Ricky Martin that led to a protective order are completely false and fabricated. “We are very confident that when the true facts in this matter are known, our client Ricky Martin will be fully vindicated,” they responded.
