“The increase in visitors increased three to four times. In fact, the Travoy 519A Rest Area experienced an increase of up to 321% with an average of 11,571 vehicles per day,” said Main Director of PT Jasa Marga Related Business (JMRB) Denny Abdurachman in his official statement, Friday (12/4/2024).
To overcome the accumulation of vehicles in the rest area, Jasa Marga enforces opening and closing and continues to advise visitors to take turns resting for 30 minutes. “Several of our rest areas are opening and closing during this Eid 2024 homecoming,” he said.
