A resident of Bertioga, on the coast of São Paulo, was the first winner of the Nota Fiscal Paulista (NFP) in 2024 and took home R$1 million. Besides him, a resident of Santos (SP) took 9th place and won R$100,000.

The new millionaire, who lives in the Guaratuba neighborhood, participated in the program of the Secretariat of Finance and Planning of São Paulo (Sefaz-SP) with 11 electronic tickets. He made purchases in September 2023 and requested CPF be included on the invoices.

The entities also competed for another 50 drawings worth R$10,000. While other private individuals and condominiums were awarded 10 prizes of R$ 100,000, 15 of R$ 50,000, 20 of R$ 10,000, 50 of R$ 5,000 and 500 of R$ 1,000.

Brazilian consumers must request the inclusion of their CPF in invoices issued by companies in the State of São Paulo. It is mandatory to register for the program via the website.
