ISRAEL – The red cow sacrifice ritual requires the sacrifice of a red cow which must meet strict requirements. Namely, it must be completely red, without a single feather that is not red, and unblemished.

After the sacrifice, the ashes of the Red Cow were used in a purification ritual required for anyone wishing to enter a sacred area or take part in certain religious rituals.

The latest developments surrounding this ceremony have attracted world attention. Especially the news of plans for a sacrifice that may occur at the beginning of Easter 2024 or the end of April 2024.

It is believed that five flawless red cows were sent from Texas to Israel in 2022, and are now being raised in Shiloh, Israel.

Conditions and Preparation

– The rabbis are required to wait until the heifer is three years old and still has no defects.
– A plot of land on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem must be prepared for sacrifice.
– The red cow plays a central role in the preparation. Imported from the United States, these animals are closely guarded to ensure they meet strict requirements.

Meaning and Prophecy

This ritual has deep religious meaning for the Jewish people. This event sparked interest among those interested in history and prophecy.

Some believe that this was a critical step toward restoring worship in the Temple. Hamas, in its 100th day speech stated that the arrival of the red cows influenced their decision to launch attacks in Israel which sparked the conflict.

There has been much speculation and debate as to whether the sacrifice of the red heifer will begin before Passover on April 22, 2024, or 50 days later on the holiday of Shavuot.

Relationship with Judgment Day

In Jewish tradition, the red cow has a connection with the Day of Judgment (the end of time) based on prophecy in the Bible. The Book of Numbers 19:1-22 describes a purification ritual with the ashes of a perfect (flawless) red cow to cleanse people who have come into contact with corpses.
This ritual is considered a symbol of cleansing from sin and preparation for a holy future.

The book Ezekiel 43:18-27 prophesies about the Third Temple which will be built in the end times. One of the predicted rituals is the use of red cow ash for purification.

In Jewish tradition, the appearance of a perfect red heifer is considered a sign of approaching doomsday. This is linked to the prophecies in the Book of Numbers and Ezekiel about the purification and the Third Temple.

Some people believe that the appearance of the red heifer signals the beginning of the process of purification and preparation for the coming of the Messiah. It should be remembered that interpretations of this prophecy vary among Jews themselves.
