It was reported that the main goal of the “Return Volunteers” program, which was launched in accordance with the call of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev to involve the young generation in the work carried out in our territories freed from occupation, especially the youth whose roots are connected to these lands, is to support volunteer activities in the territories freed from occupation. , is to encourage the participation of young people from those regions in the reconstruction and restoration works in their native lands, as well as to promote the rich historical and cultural heritage of the region and to contribute to the Great Return process.
Any young person between the ages of 18 and 29, originally from Fuzuli district, who wants to join the program, can register on the “qayidish.konullu.az” website, regardless of their educational level. Registration will be done until April 1, 2024.
Young people whose applications have been positively assessed will go through the interview, basic training course and examination stage. After the appropriate training and preparation, the selected young people will perform various volunteer activities in the territory of Fuzuli region, including participating in the organization of events, working with local and foreign guests visiting the region, supporting restoration and reconstruction works, preparing for return and volunteering for resettlement.
Basic training for volunteer training is carried out by professional trainers on the topics of “Basics of volunteering”, “Organization of voluntary service”, “Ideological training of young people”, “Soft skills”, “Psychological development”, “Leadership and public speaking skills” and “Mine protection rules”. The aim of the trainings is to teach young people about the principles and values of volunteering, the rules of communication with citizens and foreign guests, the performance of tasks and subordination, the management of emotions in professional activities, the ways out of situations, effective communication, the priorities of Azerbaijan’s youth policy, as well as the safety rules. increasing their skills.
It should be noted that currently “Shusha Volunteers”, “Aghdam Volunteers” and “Zangilan Volunteers” groups are operating within the “Return Volunteers” Program.
