News from Angola – The partnership between the Coca-Cola Company and Refriango, formalized this Saturday, resulted in the creation of 300 new direct jobs and a thousand indirect jobs.
Around 30 million dollars were invested in this partnership to reinforce Refriango’s industrial capacity in the areas of production, bottling and distribution of the American multinational’s products in Angola. Agreement with Coca – Cola comes into force on the first day of July.
Speaking to the press, the president of Refriango’s Board of Directors, Diogo Caldas, said that the aggressive strategy with Coca-Cola reinforces the ongoing commitment to quality.
“This aggressive strategy and continuous commitment to quality allow us to convey to our partners the trust they require to continue building this path together. They are also essential to support the Angolan business fabric, making it increasingly relevant and dynamic”, he explained.
For his part, Coca-Cola’s Vice-President for West Africa, Islands and Central Africa, Rodrigue Bila, reinforced the multinational’s vote of confidence in Refriango. “Together, we will take advantage of existing best practices to provide excellent service to customers and consumers, through a consistent strategy of product development and market execution in Angola”, he highlights.
The event was attended by the Vice-President for West Africa, Islands and Central Africa, Rodrigue Bila, and the Coca-Cola Company team were present at the event.
Refriango is an innovative company of reference in the national industry, internationally certified in terms of quality and food safety and which invests heavily in its brands, currently being present in all provinces of Angola and in some African countries.
Currently, the company has a distribution capacity throughout the national territory, works with more than 6,000 customers across the country, with around 400 trucks that ensure distribution from North to South, and with a sales force of around 300 people.
