Also at this session, the Central Inspection Committee reviewed the inspection results when there were signs of violations against the Party Committee of the People’s Court of Kon Tum province.
The Party Committee of Kon Tum Provincial People’s Court was determined to have violated the principle of democratic centralism, working regulations and staff work.
This Party collective is also irresponsible, lax in leadership and direction, allowing the Provincial People’s Court and some district courts to violate regulations in trial work.
The Central Inspection Committee believes that the Party Committee of the People’s Court of Kon Tum province has allowed violations to occur when applying laws and circumstances mitigating criminal liability, temporarily suspending, granting suspended sentences, and postponing execution. Imprisonment punishment does not match the nature and level of the crime; annul and amend many judgments contrary to the law.
The above violations and shortcomings cause serious consequences and bad public opinion in society; affecting the fight against crime, the reputation of the party organization and the Kon Tum Provincial Court, to the extent that it must be considered and disciplined.
According to the inspection agency, responsibility for the above violations and shortcomings belongs to the Party Committee of the People’s Court of Kon Tum province for the terms 2015-2020, 2020-2025 and Chief Justice Do Thi Kim Thu and her deputies. Nguyen Tien Tang.
Regarding the above violations and shortcomings, there are also responsibilities of a number of party organizations and party members at the Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee.
The Central Inspection Committee requested the Standing Committee of the Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee to seriously review, learn from experience, and promptly correct the violations and shortcomings that have been pointed out. At the same time, this agency requires reviewing and considering responsibilities for organizations and individuals with violations and shortcomings and reporting the results.
