He Real Madrid announced this Friday that it has filed a complaint with the State Attorney General’s Office against crimes of hate and discrimination for the racist insults to Vinícius Junior in the vicinity of the Montjuic Olympic stadium and the Metropolitan stadium of Madrid.
Some insults that occurred, Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, before the dispute of the matches between Barcelona and Naples and Atlético de Madrid against Inter Milan, in the round of 16 of the Champions League.

“Real Madrid asks the Prosecutor’s Office to ask the security forces for the existing recordings in both locations in order to identify the authors of said racist and hate insults,” the club published on its website.
“Real Madrid condemns these violent attacks of racism, discrimination and hatred that have been occurring, unfortunately repeatedly, against our player Vinicius Junior. Our club will continue working to defend the values of football and sport. And it will remain firm in its fight for zero tolerance in the face of such disgusting episodes as those that continue to occur in recent times,” he added.
Some insults at the Metropolitano for which Vinícius himself asked for “punishment” on Thursday in a message on his social networks.
“I hope you have already thought about his punishment, Champions League and UEFA. It is a sad reality that happens even in games where I am not present,” Vinícius wrote on his official social media accounts.
