RAT MNC Cooperative, HT Emphasizes Speed ​​for the Benefits of Workers

JAKARTA – Executive Chairman MNC Group, Hary Tanoesoedibjo appreciates the presence of the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (KemenkopUKM) on the agenda of the Employee Cooperative Annual Member Meeting (RAT) MNC Group which was held at iNews Tower, on Thursday (20/6/2024).

Hary said, RAT MNC Group Cooperative is a routine activity held every year. However, he added, the RAT, which had an agenda for discussing activities in 2023, felt special because of the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, namely the Deputy for Cooperatives at the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Ahmad Zabadi.

“I listened to Mr. Zabadi’s explanation earlier and it inspired me, because employee cooperatives can grow rapidly with various activities. Very inspiring,” explained Hary Tanoesoedibjo after opening the RAT.

The man who is familiarly called HT said that the inspiration conveyed by the Deputy for Cooperatives at the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises could become a guideline for MNC Group employee cooperatives in the future. He emphasized that the cooperative guidelines are expected to be able to build quickly and be beneficial for employees.

“This will certainly be a guideline for MNC Group employee cooperatives so that they can be built quickly, but well for the benefit of workers at MNC Group,” explained HT.

On the other hand, Deputy for Cooperatives at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Ahmad Zabadi, expressed his appreciation for the unification of employee cooperative entities, which were previously known to exist with each company unit in the MNC Group.

“I appreciate the current development of the MNC Group employee cooperative, because as far as I know, previously the cooperative was formed based on company units in the MNC Group,” explained Zabadi.

Furthermore, Zabadi suggested that the performance of the MNC Group cooperative be better, namely by providing savings and loan services. He suggested this as a strategic step for the development of cooperatives within the MNC Group.

“So in the future it will grow horizontally with businesses developed within the MNC Group cooperative environment. Based on the review, I think there is an opportunity to develop like that,” he said.
