To fulfill his mother’s dream in Hossainpur of Kishoreganj, a young man named Rajiv Mia brought the bride home by helicopter. He is the son of Sahabuddin Sardar of Khalashi Bari of Charkatihari village in Jinari Union of Upazila.
On Thursday (June 20) around 4 pm, the daughter of former UP member Rezaul Karim of Madhupur village of Sonatala police station of Bogra. After marrying Rumana Akhter, he returned home by helicopter.
After investigation, it is known that Rajib Mia is the youngest among the three children of Shahabuddin Sardar and Selina Akhtar of Charkatihari village of the upazila. Mother Selina Akhtar’s dream was to bring her little son’s wife home in a helicopter. Rajiv brought the bride home by helicopter to fulfill his mother’s dream. At this time, people gathered eager to see the helicopter.
The groom’s uncle Billal Sardar and cousin Parvez Sardar said, ‘We are proud that the bride has arrived at our house in a helicopter. Thousands of people gathered to see the helicopter.’
The groom’s mother Selina Akhter said, ‘Rajib is our youngest child. He had a dream to get his son married in a helicopter. I feel very blessed to be able to fulfill that dream today.’
Confirming the matter, the former panel chairman of Jinari Union Aminul Haque Makhan Mridha said, ‘A mother’s dream has been fulfilled. I am very happy with it. May their married life be happy.’
