Rain, cold weather, and winds… weather forecast for today in Libya, Sunday, January 7, 2024

The National Center of Meteorology issued a forecast weather forecast for Libya today, Sunday 01/07/2024, and for the next two days.

The National Center of Meteorology expected the weather to remain cold in most areas of the country, with active winds in the coastal areas.

The regions of northern Libya are still affected by the extension of the depression centered in southern Italy, accompanied by cold weather and active winds in the coastal areas, causing dust to be raised at times, and the wind speed will gradually decrease from tomorrow.
Clouds will increase on Tuesday over the northeastern regions, with scattered rain falling, especially over the Green Mountain.

The sea is rough on most of the coast, and waves reach a height of 4 meters on the eastern coast.

Ras Ajdir until Sirte – Al-Jafara Plain – Nafusa Mountain:-
Sky condition: few clouds.
Winds: active westerly to southwesterly winds over the coastal areas, causing dust at times, and their speed will gradually decrease from tomorrow evening.
Maximum temperatures: range between 13-18°C in most areas.

Al-Khaleej – Benghazi Plain until I help: –
Sky condition: Few clouds, increasing on Tuesday over the Green Mountain areas, interspersed with scattered rain.
Winds: southwesterly, active, causing dust to stir up sometimes.
Maximum temperatures: range between (15-19)°C.

Al-Jufra – Sabha – Ghat – Ghadames – Al-Hamada: –
Sky condition: Clear with some clouds appearing.
Wind: northwesterly, light to moderate speed.
Maximum temperatures: range between (17-23)°C.

Oases – Sarir – Tazirbu – Kufra:-
Sky condition: Clear with some clouds appearing.
Winds will be northwesterly light to moderate speed.
Maximum temperatures: range between (20-24)°C.
