Thieu Giang intersection belongs to subproject 2 (Road project connecting National Highway 1A with National Highway 45. This subproject has a section from the beginning of the bridge over the Ma River to National Highway 45 (section Km7+250 – Km 14+603). Total investment of 455 billion VND is invested by Thieu Hoa District People’s Committee.
The eastern North-South expressway passing through Thanh Hoa province has a length of more than 98km, divided into 3 component projects: Mai Son – National Highway 45; Highway 45 – Nghi Son and Nghi Son – Dien Chau.
Up to now, on the entire highway through Thanh Hoa province, there are 7 intersections planned.
Specifically, including: Gia Mieu intersection (Ha Long commune, Ha Trung); Ha Linh intersection (Ha Linh commune, Ha Trung); Dong Xuan intersection (Dong Xuan commune, Dong Son); Thieu Giang intersection (Thieu Giang commune, Thieu Hoa); Dong Thang intersection (Dong Thang commune, Trieu Son); Van Thien intersection (Van Thien commune, Nong Cong) and Nghi Son intersection (Tan Truong commune, Nghi Son town).
