Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who attended the Victory Day ceremonies at the Kremlin Palace.
Serbian President Vucic was among the number of European leaders who attended the 80th anniversary of the Nazi Germany in Moscow in the Second World War of the Second World War.
Vucic met with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin Palace within the framework of the ceremony. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in a statement, the main issue of the meeting is energy, he said. Noting that they have discussed many aspects of the cooperation between the two countries, Vucic said that the Kosovo problem and the pressure of Western countries on the implementation of sanctions on Russia on Russia. Stating that the issue of military cooperation with Russian President Putin was also discussed, Vucic said, “We have many agreements from the past in the field of military-technical cooperation. In this context, we discussed how we can maintain our cooperation in a way that does not contradict both our interests and the international geopolitical conjuncture.”

Emphasizing that the main issue of the meeting with Putin is energy, Vucic said, “I reiterated once again that the signing of a new natural gas agreement with Russia is vital for Serbia. Energy supply security needs to be established for the very important investment and development projects we will realize in the coming period,” he said.
Emphasizing that Serbia is moving on its way to Europe but not turning her back to its traditional friends, Vucic thanked Putin for inviting him to Moscow. “This was an extremely important opportunity to exchange views on issues concerning our mutual interests,” Vucic said.
Vucic also met with Chinese President Xi
