News from Angola – Civil service salaries for August this year will be paid in advance, on the 17th of the same month, the Ministry of Finance announced on Monday.
According to that ministerial department, the measure is due to maintenance to be carried out in the State’s Integrated Financial Management System (SIGFE), between 26 and 30 August.
According to ANGOP, the measure is justified to improve the performance of the aforementioned system, which has experienced operational constraints during the salary processing period, according to a note from the National State Budget Directorate (DNOE), which Angola Press Agency had access.
This time, the Ministry of Finance advises compliance with the salary processing calendar, whose initial payroll phase (payment) will run from July 17th to August 5th.
The processing of the payroll will take place on the 8th of August, for the period from the 9th to the 16th of the same month to undergo correction and acceptance.
Subject to the aforementioned phases, the public service salary will be paid on August 17th.
The public service salary has been paid between the 25th and 30th of each month.
