PTI Paraguay and FAFI-UNE sign agreement for sustainable regional development

EAST CITY. The Itaipú Paraguay Technology Park (PTI Paraguay) and the Faculty of Philosophy of the National University of the East (FAFI-UNE) formalized an Inter-Institutional Cooperation Framework Agreement. The primary objective of this alliance is to drive sustainable regional development through scientific, technological and innovative actions, as well as promote the dissemination of knowledge and the training of competent professionals in areas of common interest.

The agreement, signed by Mag. Carlos Alberto Mercado Rotela, Executive Director of PTI Paraguay, and Dr. Paola Raquel Sánchez de Vergara, dean of FAFI-UNE, establishes the bases for a strategic collaboration over the next three years.

One of the outstanding characteristics of the agreement is its flexibility in the execution of joint projects, allowing it to be adapted to specific needs and benefit the local and regional community effectively, reported from PTI.

Mercado expressed his enthusiasm for this step. “We are committed to working hand in hand with FAFI-UNE to promote initiatives that benefit our community,” he stated. For his part, Sánchez de Vergara highlighted the importance of this alliance to integrate philosophy and the humanities in the context of innovation and technological progress.
