Two people have been arrested in France in the France after the first title of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the Champions League. The country’s Home Ministry said this on Sunday (May 7th).
PSG won the Champions League title by defeating Inter Milan in Italy on Saturday night. Then the reckless celebration began in various cities including Paris. In some places there was a clash between police and supporters.

According to the French Home Ministry data, a total of 5 people have been arrested so far, of which only 3 have been arrested in Paris. Of them, 120 were taken into police custody.
On that day, thousands of supporters gathered on the famous Champs-LC road in Paris. Busstops and shops were vandalized, various objects were fired at the riot police. Police used tear gas and watercolors to control the situation.
According to the ministry, hundreds of fires have occurred across the country, of which more than 20 cars were burnt. At least 22 security personnel and seven firefighters were injured in the violence.
For the first time in history, PSG won the title in the top club competition in Europe.
